Quality Control
In order to assure customers of a dependable source of a quality product, the MacTara Limited pellet mill is fully equipped with a computerized monitoring and control system.
Moisture content, pellet durability, particle size and pellet size distribution tests are continually practiced on wood fuel pellets within the in-house laboratory using the Svenska Standard 18 71 80 testing procedure accordingly to ISO and ASTM standards. A third party laboratory carries out heat value and ash melting tests.
